About Us

Let’s Unite to Save the Animals!

Founded in 2016, the Bellas Family Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to rescue and shelter abandoned or abused animals and then make them available for responsible adoption.

The Bellas Family Foundation was born in Springfield, MA, in the United States, from the dream of Noemi de Souza, a native of São Paulo, Brazil. Passionate about pets, she has always been concerned with the well-being of animals, especially dogs and cats, which are often abandoned or mistreated by their owners.

In 2020, Noemi established the institution’s headquarters in the city, in São Paulo. On-site, trained caregivers who are passionate about pets provide medication and food for the animals collected by the project. Once rehabilitated, the pets enter a waiting list for a new home.

Donations of funds, feed and volunteer work for animals

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

We are reaching out to you today with an urgent plea for help. Our shelter in Assu, RN, is facing a critical situation, and we need your support to provide a safe and loving home for our rescued dogs. We have identified a house that would be the perfect sanctuary for these innocent creatures, but unfortunately, we do not have sufficient funds to make this dream a reality.

Time is running out, and the notice provided to us was insufficient, further complicating the situation. To give you a better understanding of our plight, we have prepared a video showcasing the house and the dire need for our dogs’ new home. You can watch the video.

Our plan, if we can raise the necessary funds, is to start by making a down payment of $5,000. This initial payment will allow us to secure the house and temporarily alleviate our current emergency situation. We will then work diligently to arrange subsequent payments for the remaining balance of $5,500. The house will also require modifications to ensure it is suitable for our furry residents, but we are confident that with time, we can improve and expand our facilities.

We kindly request your support in helping us aid these defenseless creatures, no matter the amount. Even the smallest contribution can make a significant difference in their lives.
